Vallone del Nomenon – Grivola

Vallone del Nomenon is dominated by the Grivola mountain (3969 meters) and its Nomenon glacier. It is a fantastic place and the path that allows to get it, starts from Sylvenoire village in Val di Cogne, a valley where there is also the Gran Paradiso mountain ( 4061 meters) and its well known natural park. The path is not difficult but it is very long especially if the final target is passo del Trayo (2877 meters) located on the side of Grivola. From this pass it is possible to watch perfectly the Nomenon glacier and it tongue, a fantastic view in an incredible environment.
