Tenuta Marsiliana
Tenuta Marsiliana and its medieval fortified hamlet was given to Corsini family by Granduca di Toscana in the year 1759. Since that period Corsini family started an huge work to improve the agriculture and to reclaim the marshes present in that land. But especially since 1835 Tommaso Corsini gave a big momentum to the agriculture and that was the best period for Tenuta Marsiliana. Then during the following two world wars time, this big effort was partially thwarted.
Today Tenuta Marsiliana still owned and managed by Corsini family, is a fantastic agriturismo with vineyards, olive trees, surrounded by a splendid land where game hunting activities can be organized. In the medieval hamlet perfectly restored and maintained, is present a museum that shows the ancient farmers lifestyle.
First class halls and rooms are also present for guests that want to spend their time in a gorgeous environment, tasting unforgettable food and wine produced in the Tenuta Marsiliana, among them also extra virgin olive oil and local cured meat. So in a nutshell this land and its medieval hamlet is an appointment that cannot be missed !
