“Shoal of Isuela” dive – Upper part

The Portofino promontory offert some of the most magnificent diving sites of Italy. Some of the sites are situated in a protected marine park area that permit to preserve the marine species and always offer a spectacular views.

This dive site is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean Sea.

The dive starts at a depth of 13 meters, where there is the “hat” of the shoal, that reach 18 meters of depth. The shoal has its base at more than 40 meters of depth.
The “hat” shows an algal cover on which small benthic fish and groupers are common, but also shoals of brown damselfish, bream and salpe.
