“Shoal Morcone” night dive

In Elba island it is possible to find some of the most magnificent diving sites of Italy. Some of the sites are situated in a protected marine park area that permit to preserve the marine species and always offer a spectacular views. The location of island create the perfect habitat for a lot of marine living beings.

Night divings create a unique spectacular and emotional experience. Colors are truly represented when things get illuinated by torches creating a sight that rarelly it is possible to find during daytime diving. Also the marine species that populate the environments and ravines are complitely different from daytime divings. For this reasons, Night divings are absolutelly recommended to who want to experience something unique and new.

The maximum deph during night divings it’s never excessive, but within -25 meters of deph it is possible to find octopuses, gobies, cuttlefish, thrushes, yellow gorgonians, moray eels, conger eels.

Swimming through some areas of posidonia, it is possible to take your time to admire the surroundings enlightened by divers flashlights.

Once back to the ascent chain, it is also possible to turn off the flashlights and obseve the bioluminescence generated by a fast movement of the hand in the water.
