Passo dell’Entrelor – Punta Percia

When you are on the top of Punta Percia (3227 meters high) you can enjoy an unbelievable landscape, and your sight runs from Monte Bianco to Gran Paradiso.

Passo dell’Entrelor communicates with Val di Rhemes and Valsavarenche. It is 3002 meters high. From Valsavarenche side the path is smooth and never steep, but from Val di Rhemes it is shorter and challenging especially in the very steep part.

We went up from Val di Rhemes side. The first part of the path winds through a pine forest. Then it runs along the awesome Vallone dell’Entrelor and in its final part, it climbs a very rocky and steep slope that ends at Passo dell’Entrelor.

From the pass you have an incredible landscape. You can see Grivola (3969 meters high) and Grand Nomenon (3488 meters high) mountains, the valley that goes down to Valsavarenche, Cime di Gollien (3116 meters high) and Grande Rousse mountain (3600 meters high).

But if you still have energies to use, you can easily get Punta Percia Nord (3199 meters high) and Punta Percia Sud (3227 meters high) starting from Passo dell’Entrelor.

From Punta Percia Sud the land scape on glacier of Percia and glacier of Entrelor below Punta Entrelor (3430 meters high), is gorgeous ! From there you can also see the fantastic Gran Paradiso (4061 meters high) and the Monte Bianco chain while you are enveloped in an infinite silence broken only by sounds of the nature.
