Laghi del Mont Gelé

Close to Switzerland border in the Vallone Eaux Blanches are located three gorgeous lakes under Mont Gelé (3518 m). Their names are Lac de la Beseya (2513 m), Lac de la Leita (2538 m), Lac de la Clusa (2420 m). The colours of these ponds are amazing and breathtaking. The nature in this environment shows all its power and beautiness. Close to Lac de la Leita is located Bivacco Regondi, a strategic shelter which allows to rest for a night and the day after to get the top of Mont Gelé. This mountain has a very particular shape and on its flank there is the Glacier du Mont Gelé which with its ice engenders springs for the three ponds. On the other side of Mont Gelé is present the huge Grand Combin (4313 m).
