Lavaggiorosso and Montale - Liguria
The question is: “what did we come here?” The answer is very simple! We came here to visit two fantastic hamlets, immersed in a gorgeous forest and a pristine environment.
The name of these hamlets are Lavaggiorosso and Montale. They are located in the Liguria region – La Spezia district – not so far from Levanto village. The date of these two hamlets is not certain.
Anyway, some evidences tell us that it could be the XIII century for Lavaggiorosso and the XI century for Montale. By and by, very calmly, you can discover these two hamlets walking through their alleys. It is a magic experience!
The tiny houses of Lavaggiorosso are painted with bright colours and the surrounding forest is unique. For Montale, it is worth visiting the church of San Siro.
It dates back to the Medieval era, but the building was renovated during the XVIII century. So, inside the church you can find two different architectural styles. What a fantastic contrast!
These hamlets will really make your day special. You will feel deeply relaxed, immersed in a unique environment. Don’t miss the chance to visit Lavaggiorosso and Montale!
