Lario lake - Lago di Como
Lario is a lake located in Lombardia region and shaped like an upside down “Y”. So it has three branches: one called Ramo di Como (south – west), the other called Ramo di Lecco (south – east) and the third called Ramo di Colico (north). This lake called also Lago di Como for short, is wonderful because immersed in a fantastic environment and with enchanting villages on its shores.
The three branches are encompassed by Prealpi, and to the north the lake borders the Alpi which stretch out on the watershed with Switzerland. At the extremity of each branch there is the village which gives the name to the branch itself. Therefore Village of Como, Lecco and Colico.
BBofItaly has captured some landscapes of this fantastic lake, some of them in the village of Dervio, others in Bellano and Lierna. The first is on the eastern bank of Ramo di Colico, and the last two are on the eastern bank of Ramo di Lecco. The period was between winter and spring, with the highest mountains still with snow but also with some awesome flowers in the warmest part of the lake.
Something unbelievable that leaves you with a fantastic feeling of tranquillity and serenity, immersed in a beautiful nature. Something not to be missed !
