Laghi del Miage

Miage lakes are located at the very final step of Val Veny, just below the huge and scenic Monte Bianco massif.

These stunning blue ponds are naturally generated by the eternal movement of the Miage glacier along the Val Veny, their particular and always changing’s shape is also due to this natural event.

It comes as a consequence, that every time you go visit this magic place the view is different. Simply amazing : the power of nature!

The trek to get Miage Lakes is a short and easy going walk. Once path brings you to Piano del Combal, it’s just needed a small deviation to overcome the glacier’s moraine and Miage lakes appears to you in a beautiful and savage environment.

To better comfort our clients, BBOI also do suggest to spend the night before the hike in a small village named Introd where is possible to book a very typical and fancy apartment. Just as a final guidance, Introd is located at the actual converge point between Val di Rhemes, Valsavarenche and Val D’Aosta (the main valley).
