Laghi del Miage - Valle d'Aosta
Miage lakes are located at the very final step of Val Veny, just below the huge and scenic Monte Bianco massif.
These stunning blue ponds are naturally generated by the eternal movement of the Miage glacier along the Val Veny, their particular and ever-changing shape is also due to this natural event.
The consequence is, that every time you go to visit this magic place, the view is different. Simply amazing: the power of nature!
The route to reach the Miage Lakes is a short and easy walk. Once the path takes you to the Piano del Combal, a small detour is all it takes to overcome the glacier moraine and the Miage lakes appear to you in a beautiful and savage environment.
To give greater comfort to our customers, BBOI also do recommends spending the night before the hike in a small village called Introd, where you can book a very typical and fancy apartment. As a final note, Introd is located right at the point of convergence between Val di Rhemes, Valsavarenche and Val D’Aosta (the main valley).
Please do not hesitate to ask for more info on how to experience this beautiful destination!
