Fortunago

In a nutshell Oltrepò Pavese is a hilly land characterized by Middle Ages villages, wine and cured meats. Here is located one of the most beautiful villages named Fortunago. This tiny village has been under the influence of Middle Ages families, like the powerful Malaspina. Because of this in Fortunago are present lot of Middle Ages buildings, characterized with arched shaped windows and doors and with beautiful porches. The landscape around Fortunago is fantastic with hills covered by forests and little villages surrounded with grapevines. Wine and cured meats are the most important products from this land, that can be found in very little farms owned and run by families. Oltrepò Pavese has very active farmers able to product fantastic food and wine that are worth to be tasted for an unforgettable experience.
