Baveno and Villa Taranto

Lago Maggiore is divided among the Lombardia and Piemonte regions, and Switzerland state. It is surrounded by splendid villages, and Baveno is one of these. Close to Baveno it is possible to visit the fantastic botanic garden of Villa Taranto. Of course it is warmly suggested to visit the garden during spring and summer season. You can get Villa Taranto starting from Baveno also by boat, doing a beautiful trip on the Lago Maggiore. Baveno is a tidy village, where it is possible spend time in completely relax also walking on the fantastic front lake. In the village there are also some very good hotels, and the Simplon one is suggested. It has wonderful rooms and a fantastic service! Close to Baveno there is also a very particular restaurant called Amèlie. It has only seven table and so the service is super and food prepared and cooked by a chef that comes to tables speaking with customers and explaining the dishes served. Of course wine is selected with high care. You can not miss this experience !
