Baia del Buon Dormire e grotta azzurra

Baia del Buon Dormire (Bay of Good Sleep) is a small beach located near Palinuro and surrounded by rocks overlooking the sea. That’s why the only way to get to is by boat.
It is considered one of the most beautiful beaches of Cilento and it is caracterized by a strip of fine golden sand and crystal clear emerald waters.

When approaching with the boat, it seams to get in a place outside time and where nature has created something unique.

On the boat trip from Palinuro to Baia del Buon Dormire, it is possible to find caves, some of which can be entered with the boat. One of the most amazin cave is Grotta Azzurra (Blue Cave). The name of this cave come from the color of the water inside it that it is an electric blue, derived from light refraction phenomena.
